Nikola Tesla your reason to visit Belgrade and Serbia
Nikola Tesla, Serbian-American inventor, engineer, physicist, is probably the most famous and mysterious scientist of all times. Born 9 July 1856 in Smiljan, Austrian Empire (nowadays Croatia), died 7 January 1943 in New York. Tesla discovered and patented the rotating magnetic field, the basis of most alternating-current machinery. He also developed the three-phase system of electric power transmission. He held approximately 300 patents.
Tesla, genius still to discover
Tesla discovered, designed and developed ideas for a number of important inventions, most of which was officially patented by other inventors, including dynamos and the induction motor. He was also a pioneer in the discovery of radar technology, X-ray technology, remote control and the rotating magnetic field, the basis of most AC machinery. Tesla is most well-known for his contributions in AC electricity and for the Tesla coil.
In the late 19th century, Tesla patented the “Tesla coil,” which laid the foundation for wireless technologies and is still used in radio technology today. The heart of an electrical circuit, the Tesla coil is an inductor used in many early radio transmission antennas. Tesla used his coil to study fluorescence, x-rays, radio, wireless power and electromagnetism in the earth and its atmosphere.
But all this you may find in Wikipedia or on the web, therefore we think that the best stories are the one you discover, like a modern Indiana Jones or Sherlock Holmes. Let’s see the one you probably won’t find easily in the newspaper or on the web.

The story narrates how one night “an old couple”, Astor and his wife arrived in one hotel and as there was no free room, the “young” man, receptionist, offered them his own room to stay for the night. The story continues how the “old man” said to this “young man” that he deserves a better position and how one day he built the Hotel Astoria for him and called him to come and work there. The truth is that “old” man had at that time 43 years, the “young” man 40 and that he was a manager of the hotel.
This story apart, the same Boldt, obviously a very capable man, one day eventually will become the owner of Nikola Tesla’s Wardeclyffe Tower property, but will not preserve it for future generations. This sensible and good-hearted man, in real life, will destroy the Tesla’s Tower for his real estate speculations.
So, this is just one of the different facts to discover about Tesla during this tour we have dedicated to him and to you.
Nikola Tesla and Donald Trump
Therefore, even if we can list many of his inventions here, it would not be enough to give you the right idea of how he was. The best way to know him better is to come to Belgrade and start with us the journey, discovering the facts about him in his Museum, where are his personal belongings and papers, brought from America after his death after being released by FBI. Actually, in that hotel, there were two rooms, not just one! Do we know how many papers were there? Answers to many of these and other mysteries you will find in Belgrade, where are also Nikola Tesla’s ashes.
Nikola Tesla and Elon Musk
The interest for Tesla is growing every day as some of his inventions, believed to be impossible to realise, are realised. Many of them are still under the “top secret” mark, but some of them are opening the new pages of our human history, inspiring others for remarkable contribution, like Elon Musk. His electric car is named after Tesla, even if it seems that his role model is Edison, Tesla’s great opponent, and the men who will probably be remembered as the man who invented the electric chair. Curious, isn’t it?

Science vs Supernatural
We are all one. Metaphysical proofs are, however, not the only one which we are able to bring forth in support of this idea. Science too recognizes this connectedness of separate individuals, though not quite in the same sense as it admits that the suns, planets and moons of a constellation are one body, and there can be no doubt that it will be experimentally confirmed in times to come, when our means and methods for investigating psychical and other states and phenomena shall have been brought to great perfection. – Nikola Tesla
